Some fellowships prefer morning and afternoon sessions, others prefer afternoon and evening, while others just have either a morning, afternoon or evening session. All arrangements are flexible and can be adjusted to local preferences.
In respect of the mobile Bible School, a computer and projector are used for mostly Powerpoint presentations and if the Church/Fellowship has no equipment, they will be provided. Notes are also provided. For a first visit, the subject is normally ‘The Life of Christ in Its Jewish Setting’.
Mountjoy Bible SchoolMountjoy Bible School is dedicated to teaching the Bible plainly and clearly. It takes the Scriptures at their face value and believe that God says what He means and means what He says.It is a non-residential Bible School, located in Mountjoy Street, Newport, NP20 2FA, South Wales, U.K. It is best described as mobile since it moves from venue to venue. The formula for teaching is simple. Dedicated tutors advertise Bible teaching sessions at convenient locations, and those that wish to attend simply do so. Subjects such as 'The Life of the Messiah in Its Jewish Setting'; and 'Surveying Scripture' are dealt with over a period of time. All teaching is free, although there is opportunity for students to contribute with a freewill offering. There are two presenters. Bryan W. Sheldon and Eddie Donald Now retired, Bryan was a University administrator and a founding member of the Institute of Payroll Professionals. He has been a Christian for 50 years and married for 47 years. A graduate of the Bible College of Wales, he is an author and Bible teacher. He is the Director of Studies at the Mountjoy Bible School. Eddie is a Christian of fifty years standing. A widely travelled and experienced conference speaker he is the leading elder of the Mountjoy Christian Fellowship and an integral part of the teaching staff of the Mountjoy Bible School.
Mountjoy Bible School can come to you !The Bible School also travels to other venues. Besides Newport, they are held in Plymouth, (Devon), Six Bells (Nr. Abertillery), Corbridge, (Nr. Newcastle upon Tyne) and Blackpool. They have also been held in Altofts (Yorkshire), and Bromsgrove.
